.....well.....
....HE'S BACK.
DUN-DUN-DUNNNN!!!!!!
All last summer this raccoon would rip through our pool screen, sneak onto the porch, and eat all of our cat's food.
To prevent this problem (not to mention having to replace the screen five-billion times) we decided to bring the food inside, so the raccoon couldn't smell it.
This morning I found the cat's food dish unusually barren (they usually leave a few crumbs in the bowl).
There also was evidence of a hole in the screen.
Apparently, this thing is now SO desperate for cat food, that it tore the screen to shreds, entered the house through the cat door (yes, it was INSIDE the house....I have no clue how it got in, seeing this raccoon is as big as a dog), and ate all the cat food.
Needless to say, we're keeping the cat door barricaded until we can find a solution.
We've tried trapping this thing before, but it's very SMART. It knows how to set traps off from the outside, and stick it's paw in to get the food afterwards.
Got any ideas?
